Non-Destructive Flow Survey

Flow surveys to study the flow rate and discharge of open channels, drainage and sewerage pipelines by Doppler flow meter technologies and latest Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler methods.

Flow survey for studying the flow rate of the open channel, drainage and pipelines.

1. Level Measurement
2. Velocity Measurement
3. Long Term Flow Monitoring in Hazardous or Potentially Hazardous Areas
4. Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Studies
5. CSO Studies and Monitoring

Open Channel / Pipe Flow Monitoring

Monitoring flow in natural Streams, concrete lined channels and pipes.
Applications:

– Shallow water monitoring
– Irrigation channels
– Pipes, culverts
– Natural streams
– Storm water
– Flood alert

Raingauge Measurement

Rain Gauges are located to collect rain over a specified area. The rain falls through a defined aperture and into an inner can. The contents are then measured, normally once a day, by pouring into a measuring jar. Universally used by professional and amateur meteorologists, these models are also ideal for educational, industrial and other applications.

Rainfall is one of the most important watershed variables. Rainfall can significantly affect the amount of runoff into streams. Rainfall rate and quantity interact with many other factors to influence erosion, vegetative cover, ground water recharge, stream water chemistry and runoff of nonpoint source pollution into stream.

Applications:
1. To design structures for runoff control (i.e. storm-water drains, bridges etc.)
2. Hydrological modeling of catchments
3. Seasonal rainfall trends
4. Area specific rainfall
5. Storm water monitoring
6. Storm or combined sewer system
capacity studies

Features:
1. Long term average rainfall
2. Monthly/ annual rainfall distribution
3. Variation in rainfall
4. Probability of rainfall
5. Comparison of rainfall sites
